Lumber Sales

We mostly do custom cutting, and have a wide variety of speicies available, including white oak, black oak, walnut, cherry, persimmon, sassafras, sycamore, mulberry, elm, and eastern red cedar.  If you have a project that calls for wide slabs, quarter sawn boards, or extra thick pieces for table tops, I can cut exactly what you need.  All lumber comes from logs that were salvaged from urban areas and yard trees, trees that had died, or harvested on our tree farm to clear an area for younger trees to grow. Of course, if you can provide the log, we can either mill it on your site, or bring it to our location.  This is a great way to make a family heirloom out of a tree with sentimental value.

Our on-hand inventory is limited, but I will try to post a list in the near future.  At this point, all lumber is either green-- fresh off the mill-- or in some stage of air dryng.  It is our plan to have a kiln, along with kiln drying and planing surfaces available in the fall of 2014.
